Chief Design Officer at The Moment
Design | Toronto, Canada Area, CA
I am a designer, facilitator and innovation consultant based in Toronto. I collaborate on innovation processes for system-scale organizational and community change.
I am a co-founder of The Moment, a consultancy that helps clients solve really tough problems through collaboration and design.
I previously spent 4.5 years at design-thinking pioneer Bruce Mau Design, where I led creative teams on identity, web, experience and strategy projects for clients ranging from not-for-profits to universities to public associations to multinational corporations.
I co-founded and organize Design with Dialogue, a Toronto-based community of consultants, creatives, technologists and researchers focused on advancing methods for systems-level change.
I hold a M.Sc. in Digital Media from the International School of New Media in Germany where I completed my thesis "Knowledge Visualization" in 2004. From years of work and study around Canada, Europe and Africa I speak English, French and Spanish.

Member, Board of Directors / Waterlution
Waterlution designs and delivers workshops, events and specialised projects that inspire individuals and groups to develop a shared understanding of their local ‘culture of water’ and the complex system in which it is embedded.
Waterlution's vision is to be an active contributor in influencing the behaviours of individuals, communities, companies, policy-makers, and educators in the way that we all experience, use, manage, and distribute our water.
Waterlution believes that deep, systemic change happens through open, cross-silo dialogue. It is as individuals build relationships, across viewpoints and sectors, and build their knowledge of the complex water issues we currently face in Canada that progressive action occurs.
